Do you think that the lifespan of a senior citizen depends on the caretaker?

Senior citizens, especially those above 85, usually cannot go shopping and do other work. They require the help of a caretaker to complete their daily activities. While children usually take the best care of their parents, many have full-time jobs and cannot care for them. So, some children hire a caretaker to take care of their parents. In some cases, the older caretaker may take proper care, while other younger caretakers are mainly interested in eating good food; for them, it is just a job. Sometimes, senior citizens may fall ill quickly if left with a caretaker who does not care. Does the lifespan of a senior citizen depend on the caretaker who is selected?

Yes, it's sort of related to that, because their health can easily deteriorate if they are not getting enough help from their caretaker which can increase the chances of dying significantly, a caretaker can be the sole reason why a senior citizen live longer, based on how he's treated and also the productivity.

That is why a lot of caretakers go to private facilities where they can pay money and get taken care of, they are more diligent and pay more attention to their clients compared to a government owned where there isn't any regulations or monitoring agencies to checkmate caretakers excess.

In some cases yes, or should I say in most cases the caretaker does play an important role on the lifespan of the older citizen. Then again there are other cases where the emotional state of the elderly person still has a role to play.
