Why do some dentists always want to remove teeth?

I have noticed that many dentists want to remove the teeth which are broken or damaged, they do not want to repair or restore the tooth. I have also noticed that tooth removal is very painful and causes a lot of bleeding. Only a few dentists will be willing to repair or restore the tooth. What is the reason why most dentists are very eager to remove the damaged teeth, is it because implants are expensive and lucrative for the dentist or is there any other reason?

I don't think dentists just like removing teeth, there has to be a reason that warrants that, your teeth can't be removed incriminately without a tangible reason, it must be its filled with cavities and there's no way to remove them and if they're left on the tooth they can spread to other tooth.

As a client you're allowed to ask why a certain procedure is carried out and the dentist will give you the right information on why, teeth are precious and they shouldn't be tempered with without any real genuine reasons as it can lead to several problems down the road.

I guess some of them are doing it to extort you while others do it for necessity
