Building an exercise routine takes enormous will power, but the overall return is massive, consistent exercise will make you healthier and less prone to diseases, first of all, you'll have to like your exercise, the best exercise is the one you enjoy doing, you want to kill any friction that'll stop you from doing it.

Making exercise the first thing you do in the morning helps you tremendously to kickstart your day with high energy, you can set a reminder, and start with 4 days a week and increase the days progressively.

What other advise do you have in building an exercise routine?

4 days a week could never be on the beginner level. You could start on weekends and then at the intermediate level you increase one or two days and at the advanced level 6 days a week and one day is your weekly break from exercises.

I actually think as a beginner you need the intensity as much, you have to be showing up everyday in order to build discipline, it is not easy though, I remember when I started losing weight, the number one thing I focused on was weight loss and home workouts and it was pretty intensed because I was doing it everyday.

After I got to the needed weight, I then switch up my routine and only train 3x a week, at the beginner level that's when you need to go all in and after you've stabilized your routine you can reduce the intensity and maintain the tempo.

Everything needs some kind of perseverence and endurence to achieve the goals however if you did not follow the guidelines and miss some days it would be never on your favor.

Exercise like everything else has a compounding effect and how it works is the more work you put in the best results you get out of your workout so it's very important to pay attention to compounding, when you start gyming you might only be able to lift 20 kg for example but if you're consistent and you show up everyday you might be able to be hovering around 50 kg in couple of weeks.

Nutrition too shouldn't be left out as they go hand in hand to give you an optimal result as a body builder and give you a healthy look.
