Survey sites promise to pay you if you can fill out their questionnaire and answer their questions, it is simple and easy to do but what happens most times is that you can put in a lot of efforts and at the end of the you'll get jilted and not paid, or on some survey sites you're not allowed to register due to geographical differences.

The reason is most of the survey sites out there works with companies to make research on their products and how they can improve it, so if your country doesn't use such products they won't bother with your opinion.

Making money on survey sites is hard only for those who belong to low tier countries, people in high tier countries can earn really well with surveys. Surveys cater to the market in tier 1 and tier 2 countries, survey companies do not cater to the people in tier 3 or tier 4 countries. If you happen to be from trier 3 and tier 4 countries, you either have no access to surveys or even if you have access you will be earning very low amount.

Survey cater to high tier companies, because it is used to collect records and understand how consumers interact with their business, with surveys other companies can figure out if their business is seen from the consumer angle and what they can do to make it more useful for the customers.

As a survey business works they help these companies to provide data directly from users and then use these data to sell to companies in order to make it better, for those in lower tier countries is hard to keep up to date with due to lack of central users data.
