Tiktok VS YouTube

TikTok is good for short and shareable content, but the money? It’s not huge. One might make a few pennies per thousand views – $ 0. 02 to $ 0. 04 per thousand to be precise; translating to $ 20 to $ 40 if a channel has a visitor count of a million.

YouTube on the other hand is no short term gains, it is more of a long-term strategy. However, if you are in their partner program, you can monetize by ads which I think could be significant. Also, YouTube shorts offer a fund through which the creators are paid, and it can be rather good. Hence, TikTok generates petty cash while YouTube stands to produce more, certainly when one is persistent with it. It’s just that you have to find out what exactly suits you.

Well, tiktok does not pay to everyone as tiktok monetization is not available every where. For instance, in my home country, you cannot earn even when you receive millions of views because my home country is not included in their countries available for monetization. However, youtube is available and I know a lot of people who are making full time income by creating content for youtube. However, if you can build a lot of followers on tiktok, you can earn from sponsorship

Tiktok remains banned in some countries, so residents of the country cannot even view Tik Tok videos. So Youtube and Instagram are the most popular methods to make money from videos , though I do not know anyone personally who is making money from Youtube videos. The Youtubers get a lot of coverage online and offline.
