If you live in the city this might be a little costly, thereby reducing the profit at the end of the day. I will suggest you try it in a developing state. You can hire a land(probably an hectre) just for on year. This shouldn't cost up to N300k in a rural place. Get people to farm cassava on your new land. The cultivation and everything to get the plant grow to a matured state shouldn't cost up to N300k as well. Let's say at the end you are spending N500K - N600k. A year after, the cassava would have yielded x3 of the capital. You can even get more than that depending on how you sale your harvest.

There are multiple ways to benefit from farming, some are involved with directly farming, growing food or cash crops and selling in the market, another way is to collect food from farmers and then resell it to the market. The third way is by processing farm produce and then selling processed food. The easiest way is through farming and you can farm cash crop and also food crop. Another way to benefit from farming is by selling farm inputs

There are different ways you can benefit from farming namely:

1) Owning your own farm: By being a farm owner you can be able to save on buying food, as there is where most people spend their income on, you can farm food items that you consume.

2) Selling Farm Products: This actually means commercial farming, for example after harvesting your crops you can sell them out to consumers and make money from it.

Making money from farming depends on many things like your capital and your ability to farm successfully, without incurring losses and getting an optimal harvest that will pay you back the capital you spent.
