After battling with several fruitless surveys online, I made up my mind I wouldn't go close to anything survey anymore. I took some online courses on sidehustle and metropolitan school of business. I learnt content creation, digital marketing and more. I also bought some courses and watched videos online, where I learned how to create captivating video content, graphic design, Facebook ad/marketing and more. A year ago, I created several courses. This notable one was the video editing course for beginners, I thought people how to create and edit videos. This digital content I sold through facebook ad and on my WhatsApp. After the money I spent watching videos and buying some courses, I didn't spend anything to achieve mine as i got good knowledge of what it takes to get these courses out there. I made so much sales and so much profits of course but I eventually stopped and that will be a story for another day.

Can you share how many people purchased your course on video editing. What is the size of the video which you sell as part of your course. The main problem with videos is that they take up a lot of bandwidth and bandwidth is expensive here. How much are you charged per GB of data in your country or how much does your internet data plan cost?
Survey is a good way to waste your money, because it is meant for people that are not living in tier one countries, most of the surveys are just going to waste your time and at the end of the month, you won't get anything in return, it is important to pay attention to stuffs that can help you develop, most surveys are just inconsequential waste of time and most questions in surveys are like that.

Well, selling digital content such as videos, ebooks, article, images can certainly become lucrative. You can also try creating digital courses and sell. However, having skills in something and actually selling the products are entirely two different things, you need different kinds of skills. For instance, you can certainly have great video editing skills but to create and sell video content is difficult, and even more difficult is to create a digital course on video editing.
@neku The interesting part is that data subscription as at then was affordable and the only data sub i expended was for the recording and editing of the videos. As per the size of the videos, some where 7- 10 minutes long. Just short videos in folders created and arranged in such a way the audience or viewers won't get bored while watching. I saved it on Google drive so anyone who bought through my sales page or on Whatsapp would be given the link to access the file in cloud storage anytime. So I don't have to keep transferring files here and there. Some videos were more than 10 minutes too with good quality but I found a way to shrink my videos to a reasonable size without losing its quality before sharing. Let's say a video of 1gb reduced to 198 mb, that's how effective the tool is.

Survey cracked me up, I thought I was doing it wrong seeing how YouTubers even one of the top personalty on YouTube (Reno) talked about how we can make it through surveys😅 man was just growing his channels through us and cashing out big time. Survey never worked for people in this world. Even when you make use of VPN, some day you will be caught and that's towards the time you would be expecting your payment and there will be no mercy. So what's the need? Yea selling digital content really pays.
You are actually right @Mika, you have a product that is appealing doesn't mean you will be able to get it out to the audience. These are two separate things. Is either you pay to get someone do the job for you or you take the stress to learn properly so you can do the whole job yourself which is not easy. Especially for a newbie. I specifically had marketing issues. I remembered times I ran Facebook ad and made exactly the cist of running the ad😅 at least I didn't lose my capital. There were days I almost lost to, but the fact I made profits other days balanced it all.
Survey is a trap every beginner will fall towards when they are starting in making money online, because it sounds easy and there isn't much effort needed to make money especially when you're watching YouTube and they're showing you the screen shot of their payouts, you'll be uneasy and ready to deep dive.
I have lost count the survey sites I've registered own, they sound promising in the beginning but overtime you lose the ginger to work on these sites when you learn that they don't pay at all, you'll feel like you've wasted your time and you hate them altogether
