Being broke is awful it takes away choices from you, to avoid being broke there are some simple no brainer stuffs you need to do.

Find a source of income: You can't avoid being broke if you don't have a source of income, this could be a job or a business, just anything to keep you afloat.

Live below your means: By living below your means, you will always have some cash lying around, now these are the money you can use to make your financial independence reality, you can start a business or use it to pay to learn a high income skill.

If you want to be broke just sleep and eat 365 days a year. The only way to stay broke is by not working so if you want to avoid being broke, you should look for things that will earn you money. If you don't have any skill that can be monetized please go and learn one. Learn it well as this skill will pay you later. After learning you should find a way to monetize it, if it's something you can earning money by rendering service to people it's good. If you are the digital type, you can teach people who were once in your shoes online. They will appreciate it and compensate you in return.

I think has a lot to do with where you live, I think you live in North Africa or so, down here in the west one dollar a day for a month is way above the government minimum wage, and earning 10$ a day will make you a high income earner.

Perspective matters a lot, it is no brainer to live in the USA and still earn that amount because it can't afford your living costs, besides I believe if one is hardworking they can always bump up there income overtime and get to where they want, it just takes time.
