This is just as important because as our businesses go online, having a basic yet reliable and cheap interconnectivity via the internet is crucial. However, ISPs can set outrageous tariffs on their products and services such that many business organisations cannot even afford to pay for their bills. In this article, we’ll teach you ways on how you can cut on your internet bills without necessarily compromising on the speed and reliability of the connection.

Plan Comparison:

The process of making savings on internet service thus starts with the provider’s plans comparison in the internet service market. Try and get a comparison of the different providers in terms of price, speed, and either daily or monthly data allowance. What is more, it may help you find the restricted strategy that meets your demand in a cheaper price.

Make a Deal with Your Present Provider:Make a Deal with Your Present Provider:

If you are content with your current provider, and you would like to reduce the amount charged to you then do try and discuss this with your service provider. Phone them at their client support division and rationalize that you want to secure cut-rate access to their network. They might be able to fix their price for you or offer you a better price per square than they do for others.

Look for savings:

There are some ISPs that offer their consumers discount and some of the eligible group include the seniors, students and the members of the armed forces. Call the service provider by and ask about any special offers that may be available for you.

Reduce Charges:

Extra fees such as charges for equipment rental, installation and even early termination of service are some of the extra fees that most ISPs apply. One could choose to buy his own router and modem instead of acquiring them from the providers at a cost. For this, it is necessary to read the following reading small print and opt for a plan that does not have a contract so that one is not barred from transforming their current apartment into a comfortable home after being charged exorbitant amount in form of early termination fees.

How much does a business have to pay for internet? I do not think it will cost you more than 10-20 dollars. In my home country, internet connection for a business cost just around $20. Is this a big deal for someone who is running a business? Well, it is always good to cut your costs whenever you can but while cutting cost you will have to focus on something where you are spending a lot of money and not on something like internet cost which is not a big deal.

Let's look at Africa and Nigeria to be more specific, if you want a reliable internet, it comes at a cost higher than $20 as a business. Personally, I know how much I spend on internet subscription monthly. This could be location based, businesses could spend $50 - $200 or more just for a stable connection. That price doesn't even guarantee consistent service. Some countries have better options compared to Nigeria. We face data limitations and the choice of several service providers for redundancy. If you had mentioned your location and not being subjective that would have been more expository. However, developed countries like the USA and the likes don't even spend chicken feed as cost of reliable internet. Businesses here need to cut their internet use cost effectively as it could directly affect the output and competition in such a challenging environment.
