Is Msc Necessary Before getting a PHd?

If you're planning on applying to a PhD course from your first degree it might come up in your thoughts to ask whether it's compulsory to get an msc before you can secure an admission for PhD, it depends on your experience as PhD is basically a research, and if you have experience in your field you'll be able to get an admission to study direct without masters degree.

But if you don't have any experience in your field it can be a tad bit difficult to land an admission without your Msc certificate, what's your experience about such academic issue?

Do you realize what you are actually saying? If you want to get an PhD in science (Chemistry, biology, physics), you need MSc. Without a master degree in science you cannot enroll for phd in science. If you want to get phd in arts, you need master degree in arts. a masters' degree in relevant subject is very necessary to enroll for a phd program.
