You can actually sell online even if you're abroad through the now Amazon FBA, you just have to figure out a way to solve the logistics problems, the best way to approach selling on Amazon is to find a way you can make collaborative efforts with someone in the states to help in solving customer services problems, it also help in giving your business credibility instead of just running everything on auto pilot.

It will be like a dropshipping business, selling in the USA is more profitable because people have disposable income to buy stuffs and you also get earn high margin due to low importation costs.

Even though Amazon is an American company, it has presence globally and has regional offices in many countries, for instance, there are Amazon offices in India, the UK, Japan, etc. Amazon has various kinds of selling programs some programs are available globally, except few countries like Cuba, Iran and North Korea, where as some programs are available only in locations where Amazon has a regional offices. You can sell Merch globally but you can use FBA only in few countries.
