If you're a business owner, setting goals will help you grow your business faster, it will serve as a motivation for you to work hard, most business owners are lackadaisical, they don't care about goals and just go into business with an open mind.

You should set growth goals, revenue goals, employees goals, it will give you a sense of direction and reason to work hard at your business.

Do you think it's idea for business owners to have goals in their businesses?

What you should know is that goals give you direction, like a GPS for your business. Without them, you’re just wandering around, lost. They keep you focused and motivated, like having a finish line to run toward. Goals help you track progress, so you know if you’re crushing it or need to step up. They also get your team on the same page, working together. Bottom line: goals make your business dreams real. If you don't want to be follow your goals as plan you might end up doing something different from what you intend.

What is your purpose of starting a business? Well, you might say to make money. However, that is not the goal you should have for your business. Your goal should be loud and clear. A business is started for making money but your business goal should be something like reaching breakeven point in 6 months, or making $$$ turnover in one year, or selling xxx number of products, or selling in x, y, z cities.
