Staying from online scams can be done through gaining knowledge on how to safeguard yourself, you should not share your passwords to other people and use different combinations of words, letters and symbols to make it stronger, you should also don't just believe every scheme out there for making money, majority of them are scams, there isn't free money anywhere.

Know how to use tools like who.is to determine the owner of domains and when they're registered. Learn to use your Google map and track their address to determine if they're fake or real, all of this will help you to stay safe.

It is easy to avoid being scammed but the problem is sometimes we are greedy. The word scam is not a hidden anymore so we are aware and we know we shouldn't give out our personal informations but we end up doing. Information like credit card details, phone number, Identity card and passwords should not be shared online even when sharing any of it make proper findings. Do not be in a haste to input or share your privacy. There are websites that can tell you how legit a particular website is. Scamadviser and trust pilot can do this but you should rely totally on them.

In my opinion, there are two main reasons why people get scammed online, one,they are ignorant, they do not do their own research to find out the truth, they simply believe in what other people say; two, they are greedy, they want to make money online very fast and to make money fast they are even willing to take short cut road, since they are in a bit hurry to become successful they get scammed and lose money. There are not other reasons except these two.
