An Importation Business deals with buying items in a country where they are cheaper and selling them in your country with a margin, most importers source their items from China as it is Cheaper and have a lower shipping costs, before importing, you will have to find a product that people will buy, create alandng page and send traffic to it with ads, after measuring the demand, you can tell them it's out of stock but you are trying to restock.

Then you go ahead and order from either 1688.com or Alibaba.com, it's always important to test demand before you import.

I do not know how it goes in other countries, however, in my home country to import goods form other countries, you need a an import license. You will have to do a lot of paper work and also have a lot of capital to get a license. Once you have license you need to scout for businesses that are exporting to your country, or you ca find suppliers in other countries that are willing to supply you goods. Then you have top open an LC and start the trade.
