Best ways to manage theft in a restaurant business in my opinion is to try and install CCTV camera and also try and have a manager, running a restaurant can be hard because your employees can be stealing from you because it is food and be concealed easily. Any of the two suggestions can work.

For example if you have a camera installed in key areas you will be able to track what goes on in your restaurant and will be able to fish out the thieves pretty easily, Secondly if you have a manager he can be reporting to you everyday on key inventories.
