That's correct. But you also need traffic that converts. In other words your traffic should also interact with your ads. Likewise, your traffic should be coming form top tier countries, especially the US, Canada, the UK and Australia. CPC and CPM rates in these countries are higher than in other countries, the rates are very low in Africa and Asia. You also need to target high CPC keywords, or lets' say the niche where advertisers offer high advertising rate.
It will take alot of time to get traffic from top tier countries. I remember a forum that earn 200k$ yearly from adsense and it took them 20 years to start earning huge amount.
