If you listen to investment gurus, they will tell you that you must invest in multiple assets. They give two reasons: one, you can minimize your risks, and two, you will be able to grow your wealth. Does this mean it is very risky to invest in just one stock, can you not build income with one stock? Well, building wealth with just one stock is possible, provided you invest in top-performing stock. For example, if you had invested in Microsoft 10 years ago, you would have made a significant amount of money just from Microsoft stocks. I believe you can build wealth with one stock if you invest a lot of money in a rapidly growing company. However, it is important to identify stocks with high growth potential.
